Payment of Taxes
Property tax bills reflect the ownership of property as of the date of certification, and therefore, will not always reflect the name of the current owner. The most current ownership information can be obtained from the office of the Clerk of Court at www.flaglerclerk.com.
Provided a tax payment is not delinquent, the discount applied is based upon the postmark of the payment. However, payments for delinquent taxes are applied based on the date received.
Discounts for tax payments are applied as follows:
4% discount if paid in November
3% discount if paid in December
2% discount if paid in January
1% discount if paid in February
Gross amount paid in March, no discount applied.
Taxes become delinquent April 1st of each year.
